Dall'8 al 19 maggio torna finalmente Prosciutto Veneto D.O.P. in festa a Montagnana. Occasione unicaper degustare questo straordinario prodotto, per incontrare i prosciuttifici del Consorzio di tutela del Prosciutto Veneto D.O.P. e per immergersi nell’atmosfera medievale di questa città murata, uno dei borghi più belli di Italia.
L'isola del gusto, il grande padiglione coperto in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II, ospiterà gli stand dei prosciuttifici del consorzio, a ciascuno dei quali, nell'elegante Sala Gourmet, sarà dedicata una cena per presentare il proprio prodotto, in un delizioso menù a tema. Oltre alle degustazioni del prodotto principe della festa, nel padiglione si troveranno un'area bar, alcune pasticcerie, uno stand di formaggi e un ristorante che propone deliziosi primi piatti.
La Sala Gourmet, in un'area del padiglione, è accessibile su prenotazione, e offre il servizio al tavolo per la degustazione di varie stagionature di prosciutto abbinate a saporiti primi piatti.
Nel weekend vi saranno a visite guidate ai prosciuttifici, dove i produttori illustreranno le varie fasi della stagionatura. Inoltre, è previsto un ricco programma di visite guidate, per le bellezze della città. Di domenica la festa si arricchirà di un grande mercatino di antiquariato, vintage, artigianato e prodotti tipici.
From 8 to 19 May, Prosciutto Veneto D.O.P. finally returns, celebrating in Montagnana. A unique opportunity to taste this extraordinary product, to meet the ham factories of the Consortium for the protection of Veneto D.O.P. and to immerse yourself in the medieval atmosphere of this walled city, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy.
Isola del Gusto, the large covered pavilion in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II, will host the stands of the consortium's ham factories, each of which, in the elegant Sala Gourmet, will have a dedicated dinner to present their product, in a delicious menu theme. In addition to tastings of the main product of the festival, the pavilion will host a bar area, some patisseries, a cheese stand and a restaurant serving delicious first courses.
Sala Gourmet, in an area of the pavilion, is accessible by reservation, and offers table service for tasting various ham seasonings combined with tasty first courses. Over the weekend there will be guided tours to the ham factories, where the producers will illustrate the various phases of the seasoning. In addition, a rich program of guided tours is planned through the beauties of the city.
On Sunday the festival will be enriched by a large antiques, vintage, handicraft and typical products market.
